November 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months of the Pokémon GO year. Between the monthly Community Day, four Spotlight Hours, a Raid Day, and the usual Team GO Rocket takeover, there is something happening almost every week. This calendar collects every expected event and bonus so you can plan your play sessions in advance.

Community Day

The November Community Day is expected on Saturday, November 14, with the standard 2–5 p.m. local window. Niantic typically confirms the featured Pokémon and bonus in the weeks before, but recent Community Days have rotated between 2x Catch XP and 3x Catch Stardust. A Sunday encore is possible, matching the pattern of recent seasons. The featured Pokémon usually comes with a boosted shiny rate, an exclusive charged move, and 2x Catch Candy for the full three hours, plus a Special Research story you can buy for the day.

Spotlight Hour Schedule

Spotlight Hours run every Tuesday from 6–7 p.m. local time. The featured Pokémon is announced weekly, but the bonus rotation follows a reliable pattern.

Raid Hours and Raid Day

Raid Hours run on Wednesdays, November 4, 11, 18, 25, from 6–7 p.m. local time with a five-star or Mega Legendary featured. The monthly Raid Day is expected on Saturday, November 7, running 2–5 p.m. local time with free raid passes and an increased shiny chance. Mega Raid Hours also rotate on Wednesdays when a Mega Legendary is in rotation, giving you a second weekly chance to farm Mega Energy.

Team GO Rocket Takeover

The Team GO Rocket Takeover typically lands in the third week of November. Expect a new Shadow Legendary from Giovanni, a fresh Super Rocket Radar quest line, and a rotated Shadow Pokémon lineup in Rocket stops and balloons. Research Breakthrough and Timed Research

The monthly Research Breakthrough Pokémon rotates on November 1, and November usually brings a Timed Research line tied to the month’s events. Complete your seven daily stamps early in the month so you do not miss the new breakthrough, and check the in-game Today tab for bonus Timed Research during Community Day and the Rocket Takeover weekends. Both lines usually hand out useful items like Rare Candies and encounters, so they are worth finishing before the month ends.

Other Events to Watch

Safari Zone and in-person events — dates are usually announced one to two months ahead.
Max Mondays — weekly Dynamax and Gigantamax battle opportunities continue.
A possible Community Day Classic featuring a past fan favorite.
GO Battle League — the current season wraps up in November ahead of the new season in early December.
Research Breakthrough and Timed Research rotations refresh on the first of the month.

Hold off on evolving until Community Day hours — the exclusive move is usually only available then.
